The Pacific Farmers Organisation (PFO) serves as an umbrella organization for national farmer organizations across the Pacific region. PIFON coordinates capacity building, shares success stories and lessons learned, and supports regional exchanges of expertise between farmer organizations and their private sector partners. PFO began informally operating in 2008 and was registered as a not-for-profit company in 2013. Today, PIFON represents a vibrant and growing network of national farmer organizations that are transforming agriculture in the region. Our secretariat, based in Nadi, Fiji, has grown from two part-time staff in a shared office to a dedicated team working from our own space.
